Our structure

Brand Stories™ was founded by Justin Veenema; a creative with a background in digital marketing.

Unlike many agencies that prioritize growth at any cost, we took a different approach.

We’ve chosen to keep the team small and nimble. This allows us to pivot to market demands quickly and easily. Each project is unique and has different requirements for fulfillment. As such, we bring on industry-leading cinematographers, directors of photography, sound engineers, and video editors to bring each project to life.

This flexibility allows us to approach each project uniquely and hire the best talent for the job without any unnecessary overhead. As a result, we can deliver better videos, quickly and at a fraction of the cost of video agencies.

Why we’re marketing fanatics

Most people assume that to run a video agency, you need to go to school for video production.

We took the opposite approach; spending 8+ years working with some of the fastest-growing digital marketing teams in Western Canada, including:

  • Three years building the Unbounce Community from scratch

  • Two years building the largest eyewear community on the planet at Clearly.ca

  • Two years leading the Digital Marketing course at BrainStation.io

  • One year developing international marketing campaigns at Loop Digital

We began learning video in 2018 and saw immediate results in our customers' analytics shortly after. We've since produced countless high-converting marketing videos for businesses of all shapes and sizes.

Why we started a video agency

We didn't start a video production company because we like making videos. We started a video production company because of the immense power video has to transform a brand or business.
